The Community Outreach and Testing Program work together to provide mobile prevention and community testing, as well as HIV and syphilis screenings, sexual health education presentations, information and resources to the community. The goal is to provide education and awareness to the community and facilitate resources for prevention, such as in service trainings, health fairs, condom distribution and sexual health materials dissemination. Thanks to invitations from our community and social groups, institutions and businesses throughout Metropolitan Atlanta, Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness (FCDHW) is able to participate in a wide variety of events giving us the opportunity to provide information, testing and resources to members of the community. Any event organized to educate, celebrate and socialize is a prime opportunity for FCDHW to share information about HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases and safer sex. If you or your group is planning a community event, please consider letting the FCDHW Community Outreach and Testing Program join your efforts. To request the Community Outreach and Testing Program at your event, just fill out the Outreach & Testing Request form. Once you submit the form, someone will get back to regarding your request. Please allow 3—5 business days for a reply. If you have any additional questions please contact us here (firstname.lastname@example.org).
